Contemplating the laws of the mind, I am realizing how to employ them not one at a time, but weave them together when pursuing any objective. Last week I had a deadline to make a certain level. I found myself quite nervous and stressed. Mark recommended the breath in order to relax and doing a SIT to visualize the most favorable result. I realize that the law of growth and practice work hand in hand–without practice there is no growth and to expect otherwise is fantasy. Relaxed thought means letting the action of practice naturally and successfully happen as a result of the perfect practice. The intention charged with enthusiasm and practiced diligently naturally manifests the desired goal.
Tonight I was on calls with prospects. It became apparent that the calls were growth calls not closing calls, although my intention was to close tonight. If I failed to employ a relaxation of the intention to close, the sales filter would have gone up and a much lesser chance for a future sale. Growth in the relationship is needed before the goal of a sale takes place. The growth is in the human bonding too, which is essential, and the sale is like the flower which blooms as a result of the relationship built. Definitely kind of cool to see it in these terms, which is a way to track progress in any given venture.
